This really comes to no surprise after all the drama last season, maybe he's thinking about retirement?

It's not that simple that " no one wants Rodgers ".. with a salary cap involved.
Pretty much the case with any high tier player.

What’s weird about this story is I could’ve sworn like a week ago there were “multiple offers lined up” for him already according to Schefty or someone at ESPN

Schefty also said Niners might keep Jimmy g . He’s kinda off his game right now

Rodgers being the emotional ball he seems to be could fit well with touchie feely Pete in Seattle .
Can't see a deal being made... Pete could hug it out with AR in a big way.

They might be odds wise, but no way in hell they should be the favorite

Decent chance someone surprises in the NFC and makes it more competitive, similar to what the Bengals did this past year

Also doubt the AFC lives up to the hype . Buffalo or KC will disappoint

Rams even trying to repeat in a tough division , should be the favorite.. but that NFC North division causes you to maybe pause somewhat. AFC has more teams that can win it , but alot harder to get thru.

NFC North is easy but Packers have flamed out in the playoffs too many times to have faith in them. They should not be a top 5 favorite in the NFL at this point. should be behind:

Rams, Niners in NFC
Chiefs, Bills, Bengals in AFC

They should be around even with the Cowboys IMO

I would go

Rams
Packers
Dallas
49ers

Chiefs
Bills
Chargers
Titans
Pats
Bengals

all subject to change of course

I’d like to meet the person that gets a gun pointed at their head and is given 1 pick out of packers and 9ers to win the nfc and takes SF

they’ll probably win 7 games next year, whole team is injury prone and huge question mark at QB

Yeah I can’t understand 3-5 in the AFC

Cincy in a rare space with rookie contracts for multiple years and likely going to attract some great linemen. They’re about to sign Tampa’s center . I get the hangover angle but this ain’t the Falcons

Chargers??? Come on man

Titans were a pretty crappy team offensively and their QB is pretty bad

Pats should be better but again little upside at QB. Maybe if they get a star receiver

Chiefs/Bills I get but Bengals clearly belong in the same tier as them

I would absolutely lean Niners

Lance is gonna be an upgrade from Jimmy G and a great roster around him. He will open up the field the way Jimmy never could. It will be bumpy at times but by the end of the year they’re gonna be a dangerous team.

injuries always a wild card. Someone will get dinged

The Packers thing is getting old and I think their window is closed with or without Rodgers. They’ve had two great shots these last couple years and couldn’t get it done.

If it’s about getting the 1 seed, I would lean Packers

Not sure why anyone would bet on the Packers to win anything outside of their division

Their most recent flame out was predictable as hell

Packers are my team , but that doesn't mean when I make future wagers , I auto pilot wager on them..

I didn't future wager on Pack this past year outside of their division after the Saints opening game blowout , because odds sucked.. That's pretty much what it comes down too.

Tough to bet the SB favorites , unless the odds get more reasonable.

Do you expect everyone to analyze teams the same way you do ?

As far as the Bengals were concerned , they were the benefactor of a division where the other 3 teams just fell apart. Beat a team that didn't even belong in the playoffs in the Raiders , got the game handed to them by the Titans , and the Chiefs pretty much choked..

not sure you're going to be that fortunate again.. Could happen , we'll see..

Fortune is obviously important but let’s not act like it was a fluke or it was lucky

They rolled the Ravens and Steelers twice, once when the Ravens were 5-1 and considered a player for the 1 seed

Raiders belonged in the playoffs more than the Chargers did. Beat them head to head with everything on the line

Titans were fortunate to be in that game because of that bogus Burrow interception. Bengals were the better team entering that game and actually played pretty shitty. Most metrics showed that the Titans were a below average offensive team and barely better defensively than Cincy

Chiefs choked but at the same time Cincy beating them was not a fluke. Bengals beat them earlier that month and their defense played pretty outstanding

we just have a difference of opinion on how things played out and what we believe heading into next season....
